Can they not paint all the grey railings and walls blue
Oh, there's a lot of people who believe that mate. Some of our fans have the memories of a goldfish and sincerely believe that we've got worse since the move. Its unbelievable how daft some folk are.Don't think anyone believes that
It has been built to take a 1:1.5 ratio of fans per seat. Current regulations are 1:1. That is why it looks sparce. It has been built to squeeze more people in there, and hopefully soon it will.Tell you what.
The lower south looks pathetic. Is there still Covid restrictions in place?
I've done a few on my travels as well. Few years ago, was on a beer festival tour of Eastern Europe, and was going from Budapest to Bratislava. There was a bit of a mass migration issue at the time, which had led to rail routes being suspended temporarily, so had the joys of doing it by bus. Got there in plenty of time, to see that the new Ferencvárosi TC stadium is over the road. Said to my mate, let's go and have a look.
We'd just signed Muhamed Bešić as well, so when they clocked I was a Blue, we got green carpet treatment. Stadium tour (very low cost build, not much to it), bought a couple of polo shirts and a first team shirt (I'd had one from my first trip 10 years or so previously) and a decent meal and a couple of beers before our trip. Shame Bešić never worked out though. The Fradi staff thought we'd signed a gem of a player.
The problem was that most players that we sold were not replaced by better or even equal players, also Benitez.Agreed.
We have one of the finest stadiums in world football thanks to Farhad.
He also spent a fortune on players and managers. All big names, too. They flopped... big time! But that's life sometimes.
I'm sure we will see improvements. The cladding at Goodison made the world of diffrence to the exterier. Surely, they will Evertonise it somewhat more from next seasonThere's way too much concrete on display. It makes it look a bit sparse and soulless.
This summer the blue paint has to come out all over that lower deck area of the stadium and also get some sort of Everton presence on the bare walls.
It's a great stadium but it looks bare and a lacking in aesthetics on that score.

Same here. Coverage was (finally) great on European Sky, with comments about stadium, location, tradition being brought over with Z-Cars (tough if you are Gen Z and hate it!), etc.Watching the game on a channel with no blerts in the studio they've shown loads of brilliant images of the ground and z cars

They ran out of Budweiser, 45 minutes before kick off, again3 games on the run they've ran out of soft drinks because the machine has broke or ran out, absolute farce considering they made a big deal about getting sponsored by Pepsi
Bilbao is a fantastic stadium, my lad is living there at the moment we’ve done the tour and been to a few games. Atmosphere is great and we both thought the museum was too, both said we should have the same at BMDBilbao best for me putside of Goodison. Would have loved a history museum like they have at BMD. So many firsts…. Trophies…..WC…… Dixie Dean
