New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Last but one Sunday I went to a concert in Manchester to watch Of Monsters And Men. 100 minutes of excitement, entertainment, and enjoyment. I doubt I have had the same experience from all the home games added together this season. The last few years have been awful. Last season, well the latter half,q was better, this season is better. Safe from relegation is great. However, I am bored stupid with it all. I like Moyes, I thank him for last season, probably some of this one. But it is stagnant now. It is going nowhere. Yep, we are safe from relegation, yet the zzzzzzz's are not just in Z Cars anymore. New stadium, first season, is always difficult. Now, I sit there in our shiny new ground, bored stupid, hoping it will change, but knowing it is going to continue until we change managers (and more). To be honest, all this, added to the difficulty getting to and from the stadium, and the stupid kick off times, is destroying it for me. Maybe I shall do more concerts next season. I still love Everton and always will, just a tad fed up now. It could be my age, as an oldie I maybe just think other things in life are more important? More fun? More worthwhile?

Then again, see you at the next game. UTFT

Don't listen to a word I say .... Hey!
Great post, sums up my feelings and I am also losing patience with the failure to vary a pattern of play at home which is dire to watch.

Got told to sit down again in the South Lower. It's safe standing mate.
We sit in the 3rd South Upper. A bloke in the row in front took off at the poor old bloke on the front row because he was sitting forward and his head was obstructing his son's view. He threatened him with reporting him to the club The old bloke was only small, there was no need for such aggression towards him. The kid was sitting in his seat as though he was in the cinema. I doubt they ever had a seat in Lower Gwladys.

Wonder how many of the former UGS ticket holders who wanted to sit down ended up in the lower south due to not fancying the steps to the upper south.
I know my arl fella ultimately moved to the North so he was close to an exit but not too high up.

Should have made the upper south a bit more knee / hip friendly with better accessibility in hindsight, maybe there’s would be a few more standing fans / less people whinging about sitting down.
Hopefully it will sort itself out between seasons with people moving etc.

My issue is, there's three other stands in the stadium which are all seating. Why choose a ticket in the designated standing section if you aren't physically up to it.

I agree completely, but human nature, desire to maintain old routines, wanting to be part of the new Gwladys etc etc may all have been a draw.
Maybe if any did do this, they are already reconsidering their options if not regretting them.
I think a bigger issue is there’s a large demographic of over 60s for whom huge sections of the ground aren’t really desirable, and possibly outright untenable due to the number of steps.
Not sure what the answer is to that tbh.

Identify as a CB and Moyes will give them pitchside access.
