New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

To the general public this stadium is a football and rugby venue.

It's 'kin pathetic the way that commercial department have left us open to this.

Someone at the club needs to get in there and make a decision based on stamping an Everton-only identity onto this stadium or the howls of discontent will get louder.

And by the way: that British Gas feller is bad news for this club in that respect....very bad news. His introduction yesterday was horrific. A drone with zero feel for this club.

Not really sure why anyone at the club thinks fans would want to hear from him. Didn’t even know (or care) he’d been appointed or the role existed.

Any guff about commercial revenues etc should and i expect will be coming from Anus Kinnear (he strikes me as someone who will be front and centre of any good news stories), anything about football performance and transfers via him and / or Moyes.

Anyone else, who cares surely?

Hi everyone - I’m currently working on my uni dissertation researching how much influence Everton fans had, and how involved they felt, in decision-making processes during the development and planning of the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

If you could spare 5 minutes to complete my survey, I’d really appreciate it. It’s completely anonymous and purely for academic research purposes.

Thanks so much! UTT

This is what he said yesterday. So there must be a plan?

Our branding project is also ongoing as we work to place an even stronger Everton stamp on the stadium and make it feel even more like home.

Just a few words in a sea of exploitative language.

He's at this club to sweat that stadium with tie-ups that may or may not be consistent with our club culture and he's here to squeeze every penny out of people - the vast majority of whom really cant afford it as prices stand right now.

So, after jetting down to Johannesburg to take on South Africa, England will fly home to play Fiji in an 'away' fixture at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool a week later, before checking in for a mammoth journey to the small Argentine city of Santiago del Estero, where they will take on the Pumas.

Taken off BBC website- contrary to opinions on here, its not out stadium 🤷‍♂️

Didn't they used to get all the rugby they liked?

Looks like they settled for mega-music events that take in loads of cash in the summer months.

...which is what we should be doing instead of making this a mixed sports venue and sacrificing our identity in a stadium where we're struggling to nail one down in the first place.

So far the quality of events they've attracted to the new stadium are poor. An international friendly that QPR or Charlton could have hosted and a couple of rugby games. Not exactly international household names. Hopefully better events will be hosted in future.
