Walked past the site yesterday and some scamp has painted 1995 in 6ft high letters on the Side of the building overlooking the dock, bar steward. Bigger site than you think from the pics though

It’s really getting to them. Whilst over at cult central they’re just putting another tier onto that cake.

Yes. That's true enough. But the slave trade is especially connected to Liverpool, and docks like that one in particular which traded in the product of Brazilian slave labour.

It is history, cannot be changed. Different times then and different attitudes.

...that dock will be Everton's home and the club want to basically consecrate the ground by denouncing slavery, colonialism and racism.

It's pandering nothing more, if it was being built 10 years ago nothing would have been said.

It has nothing to do with the club.. I've already said this.
