Whatever way one spins it, no it is not. He came across extremely well on the recent Panorama COVID-19 show about Liverpool’s situation so he can indeed certainly talk the talk. He has a rogueish likeable aspect to him viewed from afar and not living locally or knowing the ins and outs of his performance in a big city role.
For all that, it’s not registering as newsworthy on the mainstream tv news tonight.

Sky news now reporting 5 individuals arrested. 5 ages and locations of their address reported but only one name being the mayor. Interestingly one of them is a 33 year old from West Derby. Seriously.
