Bit in the Times this morning saying it's confirmed that Roma get priority if we are in the same Euro comp as them next year.

Indeed. Stupidly they had to set up a “blind trust” by March 1st but hadn’t done it.
Sloppy … very sloppy and there will be some mega fume if we qualify through the league but miss out through multi club ownership

Imagine we got 5th and because they messed this up…we lost out!

No amount of soundbites or kinner interviews would help to explain it!!

I think perhaps European qualification this season was seen as - on balance - ahead of schedule. So TFG might indeed be caught out. I don’t read that as a lack of ambition for Everton, though. Just that to go from relegation candidates to Europa League qualification in so short a time (via the league) isn’t the most likely outcome.
The manager has been banging on about it since pre season. It's very obviously been on the cards since Jan. If it comes to pass then they have absolutely no excuses for how rank amateur they will look

Are we / you absolutely certain the the existing structure doesn’t satisfy UEFA though?

Edit - just been reading that the blind trust stuff would need to be done by May 31st for UEFA licences, but due to how long it takes would need to be initiated by end of April, which sound more likely that March 1st as Palace were still messing around at the beginning of this season iirc 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, I’ve literally only heard about the prospect of the Friedkins having messed up the admin from fans.

Nothing from anyone with legitimate sources at the club.

You’d like to think that because we have been safe from the drop for a while now, they’ll have had plenty of time to get the best shirt sponsor (and whatever else) as possible (if it’s not going to be Toyota who they also own.) just little things like this and not scrambling and deals with the devil (stake 🤢) that will set us up nicely for the future I hope.
They don't own Toyota. They own a Toyota distributor in the US.

Correct. We don’t know and it doesn’t appear anyone has asked anyone at the club directly

As of the 5th March, past the deadline, they hadn't been separated according to Giulia.

Martin Ziegler of the times said this Saturday(?) that was still the case having spoke to the club.

The fact the club have not came out and outright refuted it says as much as anything.

Maybe they did meet the deadline, but the balance of probabilities suggest that the club are really hoping that we are never in the position to find out.
