Good to see them making moves to bring in more in the background to hopefully push us on. That and a new academy manager dean rastrick, will be interesting to see what deal they can get for the shirt next season. Maybe even a training kit sponsor aswell, is going to be another massive season for them to show what ambition they have for the club
I’f he is their man parroting their agenda it’s great that they are getting him to talk it up in that way. Big fan of thatMark Douglas is, effectively, the Friedkins's house reporter. This is them conveying their agenda.
From what he writes, it would appear that a major shirt sponsor has been found. It would appear that they will spend up to 200m in the summer (they said they could have spent 150m, this, but fell short of that). So, the messaging is positive.
There is no doubt that these people have stabilised the club, refinanced it, and, basically, saved it. There is no doubt that they are massively successful business people. What is in doubt is their true ambition for the club: asset-flipping or gate-crashing the Sky Six? There was an awful lot of mentions of the word "stadium" in that article, and precious few of the team. This summer will definitively reveal their true intentions. We should remain cautiously hopeful.
To be fair, most of the commercial deal we have been close to doing recently have been confirmed so try not to read too much into it.Why do we always release stories about being close to doing something? I mean, we don't hear a peep out of them and when we do it's 'We're close to this' or ' We're gonna d that'.
Just do it and don't talk about it. It's just Straight out of the BK book of its Season Ticket renewal time so put something in the media to fool everyone that next year will be different.
First question should have been, where is the Everton Ladies football sale money gone? On paper its profit, my understanding its paid out in dividends to freidkin group and Everton FC won't see a penny of it. Not convinced myself our owners are going to be financial backers many hope they will be,
He's got nothing in the bank when it comes to credibility. Never called a transfer right. In fact, he's been spectacularly wrong when it comes to breaking his own stories.
Just because he's got access to a club official doesn't mean we should start believing him.

It means if / when the wheels fall off, no one is entirely sure whose fault it is.enlighten me what's this all mean
Not saying you are wrong about their ultimate intentions, but they did pump a load of money in to sort out the balance sheet prior to the sale.First question should have been, where is the Everton Ladies football sale money gone?
