My all time hero! If he had played in the 86 cup final, we would have won! I remember watching him play for Wales against Holland, wales got absolutely battered but the score was only 1-0 and that was because of a string of world class saves by big Nev.

I am fairly sure that Holland also beat Wales 7-1 (don't quote me) and Big Nev was still man of the match.
I remember his debut ( Ipswich I think) and what stuck out for me was his bravery. He was diving at feet etc etc. Knew from then he would make a decent keeper but didn't expect him to be the best in the world.

Arguably you could include Lineker as well, as a goalscorer there wasn't many better.
