No jinx, but @Mikey_Fitzgerald is eager for their success. I owe him a point on the Clips being better than I suggested, but they still have major problems and I'm not sure Griffin is anything more than a glorified All-Star.

If your the Clippers do you bring Jordan back next season as I think someone will offer him a max or near max deal so do you match it? Yes he is a good rebounder and a decent defender but he can't finish from further than two foot away from the basket and his terrible FT% give people an easy tactic to stifle the Clippers offence.

They have to bring him back, they won't have the cap space to get a starting level NBA center if they let him walk. And since Paul is on the wrong side of the 30, they can't afford to punt for a year and wait for the salary cap to jump after 2016.
Blake Griffin had a weird playoffs, I'm biased as I'm from Oklahoma like him, but he had games where he looked like he was becoming a Top 10 type player in the league. Then of course there's been the disasters, like today. Even though he's much more than the dunk and rebound guy he was when he came into the league, but he's probably somewhere in the mess of just good but not great players.

True never thought about it like that. They really need to sort their bench out though as it just isn't good enough for the level they see themselves at.
I agree with Blake he has the ability to be one of the top players but he needs to produce it more when it matters.

They have no choice as their cap is pretty much maxed out. Its sign him for big money or get nothing in return.
That was an epic choke jerb by the Clippers this week.
Warriors/Rockets will be a fun series.

The Houston Rockets are going to the Conference Finals after being 3-1 down.
Of course we're gonna get drilled by the Warriors. One thing though. We lost all four games to the Warriors this season. But when we lost, we didn't have Dwight Howard and Terence Jones. It might be just a bit different when they see our entire starting lineup rather than our bench players.
At least I hope so.

No way, if Kyrie wasn't crippled like Tiny Tim, and Love was healthy they would have a chance. But as the Cavs are currently built, the Warriors will run them off the court.

I like LeBron. He's had the unfortunate burden (relatively speaking) of being the next face of the NBA after Jordan & Kobe. Which was only made worse as LeBron had a different style (which probably could be described as a more inclusive) than the Alpha Male Brand of basketball that Jordan & Kobe both used to win, which meant LeBron would never win over the disciples.
But as much as I like LeBron, the Warriors are cut from the same mold as the Spurs team that ran LeBron off the court in 5 games last June. A recent stat I learned about the Warriors is that around 53 times this year, they've led by 15 points or more at any given time during a game. And guess what, they have NOT lost any time they've lead by at least 15 points. In light of the Clippers' collapse last Thursday, it makes that stat even more impressive.
If the Warriors lose more than 3 times the rest of the way, I'd be shocked.
