Love the Bulls ever since the Jordan, Pippen, Rodman & Phil Jackson era. They've had a decent season so far, Butler & Gasol have been excellent & D-Rose is slowly getting back to his old form. In a big struggle in the East at the mo with the Raptors, Wizards & especially Lebrons' Cavs. Hope they can go all the way but feel they may come unstuck in the playoffs unless Rose hits top gear when it matters most.

I'm not holding out that he can make the playoffs after his surgery today. Such a shame.

i've tried to enjoy massively dissapointing sport, like hockey. Itso only fun when some weapon falls over or makes someone fall over and the crowd cows over it like some medieval sporting event.

ITS CRAP.

Good on that young man! Gonna track down the article. Thanks.

Tried to post it the other day, but couldn't find it as it turns out it wasn't on Espn!

Good to see that Rose's operation wasn't much of a big one (15 minute job, walked out of the hospital without any aid). He should be back for the last week or so of the season (3-9 games), but even if he is, I don't know if that will be enough to make us contenders. Even before the injury his play was very up and down, and as much as he had seemed to have pretty much fully recovered physically, mentally he seemed off to me, and I don't think we could have got to the finals even if he hadn't got injured :(

Clippers walloping the Suns in Phoenix has given me hope that they might actually get past the first round of the playoffs

They're not winning the Championship though

In 5-10 years, when the Lakers are winning titles again, Clippers fans will look back at this era and lament that they couldn't cement their status as best in LA with a Championship

Yeah, think they should get to the semi's but can't see the West finals being anything other than SAN/GS. To be honest, after all the years of failure and the whole Sterling issue I think just a few years of being on top will be enough to satisfy most fans and be considered their golden era!

Imagine if we'd been just as boss in the 80's and finished above Liverpool every season, but only finished 2nd to some other team?

Despite conquering Liverpool, the era would be seen as a disappointment

Clippers fans need to demand a title from their team

They have a top level guy in Chris Paul, as well as Bynum and Griffin to back him up, as well as Doc Rivers as coach

They need a title or this period should be seen as a bust

With a team this good, they should be challenging

Gutted the Pacers didn't get in wanted to see PG13 in the play offs up against the Hawks. Would have preferred OKC over The pelicans as well just for the Curry vs Wesbrook match up.

The Clippers are NBA's Stoke, happy to be in the top flight, so to speak. Chris Paul is an other-wordly player, but the rest of the players aren't much more than average and the team's history is a joke. They may end up doing something in the future with their new ownership, but they don't need to demand anything.

The Clippers have 23 actual playoff games won in their entire history (3 times winning a first round series). The Lakers have 16 actual NBA Championships (31 total appearances in the NBA Finals).

I'd like to see the Clippers do well, but let's not get ahead of ourselves.
