How's Joel doing? Should really pay more attention to how he's getting on really.

He's doing well. His game has has really come along in the last season and a half in terms of his defense and overall game around the rim where he is now a applicable backup center to Robin Lopez.

That wasn't the case his first year where players were blowing past him left and right in the paint. I mean before last season started, Blazer fans were not confident in his abilities to progress in his development and were hoping for some team taking him off of our hands via a trade.

That's not the case anymore.

Bulls back to sucking arse again. Turned off about half way through the 2nd qtr, then checked the score every so often on ESPN. Totally predictable result, if not Whiteside going off defensively. Thibs sucks as an offensive coach. We need a decent ast coach in there, or this is what the play offs will look like.

Hint: they aren't. Granted they might be able to beat Golden state after Bogut and Curry get injured in the playoffs but even if they do make it to the finals the Hawks will murder them.

Yeah goes on way too long, San Antonio more or less just do enough to get to playoffs and then kick into action.

Kobe struck down by a torn rotator cuff. Out of the All-Stars, very slight possibility he's out for the season.

Kobe had a serious achilles injury and shoulder injury in just over a year, but he will return next year because he has a Hall of Fame contract

Whiteside's interview after the triple-double game was great. Everyone who saw him at the Charlotte downtown Y knew he was putting in the work to get ready for the league.

“I told my teammates, you wouldn’t believe how things work out in life,” Whiteside said. Three months ago, you can ask anybody at the downtown [YMCA] in Charlotte, I was there just chilling. Just working on my game. I couldn’t even get a team to pick up the phone.”

Ah man! Was just looking at watching the game on LP and saw there was a post in here, so thought I'd check this before viewing in case it could save me some heartache. Read this and thought we got whupped by 30 or something, so looked on ESPN and saw the result! D'oh!

sorry about that chum. It was a post made in anger after GSW rebounded in the last second despite having Noah and Gasol (I think) better placed.

Yeah, lucky they had a brain fart at the end of reg, and were totally un-GS like in the 2nd half. And then Clay missed an easy bank! Rose was so up and down, mentally he's all over the place imo...

Kobe had successful surgery but is out for 9 months. Not that it matters given how god awful the Lakers are. Just a shame that his last 3 seasons have been so poor in terms of the Lakers and his general health.
