Just a question for you all. Do poppies still have the name 'Haig' on them? I stopped wearing them years ago when I learned of that [Poor language removed] role in the carnage of ww1. I always put money in the tin, just didn't take a poppy

Think that was in Scotland. The Scottish charity is not called the Haigh Fund anymore, it's now PoppyScotland.
 
this thread would be more accurate if it read- fundamentalist muslims or extremist muslims.- watch `the life of brian` - its not the religion, its the way its interpreted by reactionary fools - no religion is free from nutcases who are needy and have to join a gang to feel good about themselves. its right whats been said about the media coverage - they want to whip up hatred and division amongst people. i just thought of the song `universal soldier`. i cant remember how it goes
