Player Valuation: £25k
listening to moyes on radio merseyside after todays game has put me on a total downer the man should do one now all he is doing is showing a titty lip to all the press players and fans .i have been a supporter for 55yrs and have never hearda manager been so down do one now davy

Honestly, if i was manager, i wouldnt care about "people are listening" id say it how it is, therefore come out and say "our defence was [Poor language removed] [Poor language removed]"

He is starting to get abit down, and a manager shouldnt be like that. I dont know why he is down, he (in my opinion) has had the money for atleast a month - otherwise why bid £15millino over a month ago? So he should be buying the players, not complaining that we dont have the right players.

A manager should encourage, or bollock the team. And in the dressing room he may be, but in the press he just seems uninterested tbh...

And people still think there is no trouble behind the scenes,I think he is totally disillusioned with what ever the amount of transfer cash he was given,it seems strange that he has apparently stated that none of the new boys were his choice?.

I'm getting to the point now where, if he's that disgruntled, I think he should just resign. It's not healthy for him or the club to carry on like this. A decision has been made by the club owners that funds wont be released to push on to the next stage Moyes has been aiming for. Moyes should now recognise that lack of ambition at the club and depart with his dignity and credibility intact, rather than limp on and put up with the situation forced on him.

I just wish he'd quit the coyness and just tell us what the hell is going on instead of acting offended whenever he's asked about new signings / his contract.

If we have money for transfers, say it properly. If we don't, bloody tell us. Stop with the 'maybe one or two more players, perhaps' stuff.

Why hasnt he signed a contract?! No one knows, if he knows he is going to leave he should just leave, rather than go to the end of his contract.

I dont think he will leave - but why not sign the contract?!

I think he feels if he sees out his contract no one can point the finger at him, when he finally walks:(

i agree, if he plans on leaving when his contract runs out i'll lose a lot of respect for someone who i currently believe is one of the best managers around

i'd be gutted to see him go either way, but if those are his intentions, the decent thing to do is let the club know before the transfer window is over, not to delay signing anyone and leave the club in ruins for the next manager.

i'm not saying that he's intentionally leaving the club in ruins, just that i pray those aren't in fact his real intentions

I, for one, have been really positive throughout this whole transfer 'shambles'. But what Moyes is saying makes me worry, because its coming from the horses mouth, he definitely is not happy. And I dont think he should come out to the press and say it how it is, it does the players in the squad no good to see that he says: "We cant win a premier league game with this side", or something to that extent..

Moyes has always done his best for this club, as to some degree has Kenwright. I just think he now feels he has taken us as far as the money he has will take him. Hes a loyal and honest man and i honestly think if he was going to quit he would come out and say it.

The fact he hasnt signed his contract can only mean the things he asked for havent been met, possibly in terms of backing from the board or something else. In all fairness after 1st Sept he doesnt have any excuse, 2 week break, transfer window shut, i think then he will either sign or come out and say he isnt signing and hopefully state the reason.

If he was to leave he would leave with my respect and i wouldnt think any less of him, he has made our club great again, yea we are having a bad time atm and along the way there has been some dark days, but he has made us believe again, so for this i will forever be thankful for Moyes and Kenwright, neither are perfect, but both have given us 100% and given us a platform to progress.

The premiership is no longer about the best manager, its about whos got the most money, money doesnt always bring success and we have shown that sometimes you just dont need money to get ahead. But to move to the next level we need money that BK just doesnt have, money i dnt have, money YOU dnt have. Its not his fault and its not Moyes fault.

If we wanna point fingers lets point them @ Sky, lets point them @ the cash cow that is the CL, lets point them @ UEFA for allowing the top teams to have so much money than the rest, but lets not point them @ 2 ppl who have given everything for our club.

Agree with most of that. I do think Kenwright is a toe curling embarrassment, but I believe, ultimately, he's not the problem. He's brought on board people who, by all accounts from reputable journalists, control the club's fortunes off the field. If they dont want cash spent on players or want to concentrate on a stadium build, then Kenwright is pretty much a hostage to that fortune. I think Moyes revealingly made a statement two weeks ago where he thanked Kenwright for his continued support in trying to get players in, but didn't extend that to the whole board.

Earl and Green are the elephants in the living room here. We are pretty much struggling to push on as a club due to whatever strategy they have in mind for the future.

I agree 100%
I feel for Moysey. He wants to take us to the next level but I just don’t think that players see us as an attractive option. We don’t pay stupid wages or pay ridiculous transfer fees. We have been doing things in the right way, trying to balance the books and slowly building a sound football club when everyone around us is throwing money at trying to get close to us. So were do we go? I think the world of BK. He’s a blue but he’s relatively poor. Do we sell our souls to a billionaire who wants a new toy? Do we borrow and shoot for the stars like LUFC or do we accept were we are and yoyo in the top half? I don’t know. All I know is that since DM has been here the players have been performing to the club moto, overall. When you look at our attendances and financial performance we are punching above our weight.

We’ve got off to a bad start, like we all thought might be the case. The thing is DM is an honest guy. He’s not a bullshitting arrogant bigot like most. I thing he realises that plan A didn’t happen. I know we didn’t target superstars but it pisses me off that our targets say no. They will burn in hell. Keep the faith.

NSNO.

I disagree im afraid, i dnt think that Green and Earl have as much sway as ppl believe, not Green anyway. I honestly believe the problem lies with what Moyes said about ppl letting the club down, ppl like Wyness and Agents. he has tried to buy, if we believe the press we bid for Moutinho, Love, Smith??,Mbia,Riera and others, so its not like the wallet has been closed and i honestly believe that we will spend some money before the window shuts.

Earl invested money into the club and he wants a return on his investment, surely hes a clever enough business man to know that to make money, you have to spend money. So i cant see him saying enough is enough we spent no money. Cos then all he is gonna get is a slice of the parachute payment all the way to the championship. And im sure he doesnt want that.
