It comes down to the mindset of each individual supporter.
Maybe for some it doesn't matter that the manager of Everton was given an invitation to the home and expected to be told that we were losing one of our players, the way that it was phrased is what really annoys me.
If he said that he had been invited because SAF wanted to try to sign one of our players and wanted to discuss if he were for sale and at what price then that was perfectly acceptable and correct.
If you cannot see how it made Everton look like a small time operation compared to the mighty Utd who simply decided what players they wanted and when.
In my opinon it is more insulting than anything Rafael ever said about this....and while on the subject of Liverpool ,can you imagine their supporters reaction (rightly so) if their manager painted a similar scenario as Moyes painted.
I don't believe that any insult was intended, but it didn't reflect well on Everton.
All it reflected is the truth.
What you would have liked is more drip-fed delusions but the fact at the moment is that Everton is a club that when producing a talented player or manager can do nothing really to prevent them being taken.
Swansea and Norwich and WBA and everyone are running riot buying players and we aren't.
Moyes would have left regardless because CLEARLY Bill hasn't organised the type of financing that would have convinced him that he could reach his ambitions at Everton.
If you're hating
Moyes for how he made Everton look then you're misdirecting your anger.
What you hate is how Everton looks.
And that is its own problem at the moment.
