Personally I think we need to try and stop sacking mid season. I understand that sometimes it’s necessary. But it shouldn’t be for us moving forward as we shouldn’t be in relegation trouble. We can’t get rid of Moyes next December/January say. Because we then will be either giving it to Coleman or Baines or going for another short term appointment, your top targets are not usually available mid season. And if one of your top targets is out of work, appoint him in the summer.

Moyes either goes this Summer, which is what I’d do , or next summer

You never hope for that, good that Moyes hasn't us there at all unlike the previous 3 managers.

In this thread or somewhere else? As according to search, you have made two posts in this thread, and neither are a list of managers. (And why would I be looking in other threads for a conversation in this thread?)
It wasn’t a big list and it was admittedly from some lazy research, but not sure which thread I posted it in. From memory it was Silva, Iraola, Glasner, Pochettino (I don’t know whether out of contract but once World Cup done be surprised if he doesn’t return to the PL), De Zerbi, Alonso.

Not all of those managers will be in our reach and done the club don’t want, but I don’t recall a summer where there have been so many managers out of contract.

You absolutely have no idea that this scenario would happen

Why would TFG want someone with zero
experience

Ffs mate

Think he easily deserves at least the next summer transfer window to build the squad more.

If he gets backed with money, and still can't push us through the ceiling next season, then fair enough maybe.

But chopping and changing managers when trying to rebuild a squad does nobody any good.

There is going to be difficulty in attracting the right calibre and profile of player to the club (maybe not as difficult as leat year) if we don’t get European football, as I am not sure given our current performances, playing for Moyes will be that attractive to players.

Hopefully, performances will improve and we get European football otherwise would we want Moyes to have the final say in recruitment?
