Stop panincking blues FFS.... there is a week left yet, arsenal fans in the main love arteta and none of them new about any potential interest in him until tea time on transfer deadline day.

O'Neills like a sand boy apparently, hes going around the club saying this whats happenes when your paitent, tbf they are getting their top targets in Fletcher, Johnson and Cuellar. There hoping to do another big striker as well.

Let's get real though. O'Neil has a long history of paying over the odds for run of the mill Premier League players and has done so again. Cuellar is a past it Villa reserve, Wolves have fleeced them for Fletcher who is fairly mediocre and Johnson has finally found a club around about his level. The rest of their team is utter dross, Sessegnon aside.
Also fairly sure Johnson is far from a 'massive mackem fan' as well.

Slap on the wrist by Bill, promise of a new contract, Moyes is happy to "go with what we've got".

Make no mistake about it, even with a great start to the season if it turns out to be the case, two or three injuries could seriously derail our ambitions this season. Is Moyes happy to take the risk, knowing that almost every season without fail we have a injury-ravaged month or two?

I don't think Moyes is happy with what he has.

You often have to wait in the window for your targets to become available late on or for their clubs to lower their asking prices as they need the money.

Early in the window the clubs normally overvalue all their players, hoping that a big team will come in for them but when they realize they're not going to they lower their prices. There's so much brinkmanship going on between clubs, sometimes you have to be patient to get the best deals and I'd prefer Moyes to hold out and try getting a fair deal on a good player than just blow what little money we've got left on a nobody to make up the numbers.

I'd love to see Manuel Fernandes back at the club. I think he's a top draw player and he'd give us an outside chance of breaking the top 4. He's also versatile, which would be another bonus.

I don't think it'll happen but I'd be in dreamland if it did.

I'm pretty sure Moyes will buy at least 1 more player or get someone in on loan. Let's all hope he can pull another rabbit of the hat.

Mclean is great and Larsson's good too.

There'll be plenty of bargains to be had closer to the deadline, Moyes obviously knows who he'd like and is trying to get the best deals possible. We'll all have to wait and see, and possibly hope that DAVIDMOYES gets information on another signing.

Absolutely. He'd have a field day with some of the lesser sides in this league, I'd wager. Exciting player and still only 26, I think.

still wouldn't mind it we bought Afellay and another CM.

Forget about Afellay. Barca have told him he's surplus to requirements at Camp Nou. Can either leave on loan or permanent and they won't sit in his way. Guys got an enormous ego about him and an arrogance beyond belief and won't accept it. he apparently already told that vermin across the park to bugger off. Guess he's only interested in teams like Man Utd, City, Chelsea or a major Italian team.

All of this, with bells on. CM and LB are the two positions with the least available cover.

You can't play McLean, Johnson and Larrson. McLean had been found out a bit by the end of last season, a bit like Coleman IMO.

True, was just talking about their ability though.

I think Mclean's good, if he develops his game a bit more he could become great.

I think he's better than Coleman, all about opinions though.

With the attacking players we've got this season and less hoof ball, Vellios could do a job for us, his start last season didn't do well but he didn't have the same players around him. Who knows. Just not Owen, please not Owen.

Then find a CM, possibly Fernandes.
