Let's get real though. O'Neil has a long history of paying over the odds for run of the mill Premier League players and has done so again. Cuellar is a past it Villa reserve, Wolves have fleeced them for Fletcher who is fairly mediocre and Johnson has finally found a club around about his level. The rest of their team is utter dross, Sessegnon aside.
Also fairly sure Johnson is far from a 'massive mackem fan' as well.

They prob payed over the odds for Flecther, but hes the 9 mill bracket for me - very underatted player. Watch.

Johnson a 25mill player for me, i know they didnt pay that for him hes an awsome talent. Best Prem player who hasnt been getting games.

Cuellar was statisticaly one of the best defenders in the league while MON was at Villa and if you watch the performence he put in last week away at Arsenal, it was impressive granted hes over 30 - but hes a good player.

Im not that bothered who you think Johnson supports mate, the lad i know is well in at Sunderland and thats what he said to me, there is a bit of an unwritten policy up there for not signing Geordies after what happened with former Gerodie players and Steve Bruce.
