Apparently according to Setanta, Moyes took advantage of a free weekend and scouted players, Arshavin and Dudu.

Reports in Russia claim that David Moyes has embarked on a covert scouting trip to the country in order to cast his eye over two of the Premier Liga’s finest players.
Sovetsky Sport newspaper reports that, taking advantage of the weekend break opened up by Thursday’s fixture with Chelsea, the Everton boss visited Moscow to check on Russia captain Andrei Arshavin and CSKA Moscow star Dudu.

I'd take Arshavin in a moment. This is exactly the class we could use at Everton. I just hope we haven't put any of the money bag teams on alert. Truth is I beleive Spurs, Barcodes and Rovers have in the past checked what we were up to and did the business.
