I'd have Phil from Skem FC over fatty. You generally look at credentials of a manager to determine likelihood of success.
That's why we don't appoint Phil from Skem FC
I set that camp up.The problem with Moyes is that he may well get your team competing in the right half of the table...but that's it.
The man is a serial bottler.
I was almost in the 'anybody but Moyes' camp over the summer.
Can't be any worse than a kopite.Wonder how our fan base would have reacted if we had appointed Ranieri?

Blackburn / SkemThank Christ we didn't look at managerial credentials before hiring Howard Kendall then.
Rafael...they are similar but Rafael has better experience and is a bit more of a pull for players. Rafael has started the season several steps behind Moyes. He has a lot more dross to contend with.Lot of discord surrounding the appointment of our current manager and you can’t ignore the decent job our former boss is doing at West Ham… out of interest then who would you prefer here now ?
Blackburn / Skem
bit of a difference like
Don’t read it then … simpleIt's threads like this that are making me less and less arsed about Everton and football in general.
Stupid.
The biggest difference is how long each has had in their respective jobs. Moyes being there for a second time only means his feet are even further under the desk.Very reactive.
Wasn't long ago West Ham fans wanted Moyes out - the covid break saved him.
He got a bit of time but come the end of both Benitez and Moyes careers there will only be one answer on who was the more successful/better manager.
There's also only 3 points seperating the sides.
Benitez will say 8th means nothing.
Moyes will say 8th means manager of the season.
