Moyes on Goals on Sunday

I still think Moyes thinks he's bigger than the club. He needs to remember that we used to win trophies - although obviously this was before he turned us into an also ran club which hasn't been able to put a single trophy in the cabinet in over 10 years.

One trophy in the 15 years before Moyes took over, during which time we became a bottom half of the table team who diced with relegation multiple times.

I'm not sure what history you've been looking at where Moyes made the club worse.

moyes leaving wouldnt be the end of the world. for starters hes rather average on match day but he makes up for it in the transfer market. im sure we could get a good replacement which we would also not have too pay as much

Having the likes of Moyes on as a guest on those types of shows is pretty dull viewing. They are so well media trained and their answers are so middle of the road that its very hard to glean anything from them. The few tit bits I got from the interview were:

1. We may well go in for some new players in January
2. Fellaini will stay if we qualify for CL. I'd say there is a verbal agreement in place between him and the club that if we fail to qualify he can talk to whoever he wants.
3. Moyes is waiting to see were we finish before entering into contract talks.

I think he's positive about our ability to challenge for 4th, trying slightly to play things down, but he knows that this team has a genuine chance.

I love Moyes stock answers.

This recent one about trust between him and the chairman is a belter it means absolutely fck all and in no way shape or form answers why he's running down the last 12 months of his deal. The red herring about concentrating on the team is another beaut, how long does it take to say "I want 4 million quid" or a new Mondeo or whatever it is he wants.

All very Robin Van Persie prior to shipping out at Arsenal.

Get Solskjaer in.

I'm always amazed at fans who seem to think Moyes is holding us back.
