From what I know he is an attacking midfielder who gave some good performances in the Champions League. Apparantly it is a one year loan deal with a view to a permanent move.

In other news, it has been reports that Joseph Yobo has been seen at the Bernabeu. Reports are that Real Madrid are lining up a bid of around £8 million to capture the services of the athletic centre half:

Only 8million! They are getting Yobo on the cheap! ;) Gotta love chico transfer rumours.

Already grabbed my thunder on Stephen Pienaar. A wonderful player with wonderful talent. This would be a big coup in my estimation. I hope its true.

hey, ive just been promoted to GOT first team

its an honour & privilage.
i would like to thank my family and friends, my agent, my shrink (and the milkman for looking after my wife, even though my kids look like him)

Well.. I'd like to get Pienaar for a year on loan to see how he copes with the PL, but selling Yobo for £8M? I'd like an offer of at least £10-12M for him for even bothering to tell them "no".

He is rumoured to be joining one of the biggest club in the English Premiership - Everton FC. They regularly get crowds with 37,000 and are one of the most successful clubs in England. His football hero is Duncan Ferguson due to his aggression and anger. His favourite footballing moment was when Duncan Ferguson grabbed Stefan Freud around the neck and also for punching Paul Scarner and Fredi Bobic in the stomach. His all-time favourite crisps are Salt 'n' Shake and spicy Monster Munch.

He said it would be an honour to play for a team in Kirkby with the ambition and desire to be, once again, one of the top teams in European football. He also states "I am going to be better than that South African flop who played for Liverpool. What's his name? Sean Dundee? Yeah him, bloody rubbish he was"!

hilarious.

Chico got it wrong by a thousand miles. It is in fact Stuttgart that are moving in for him, so Joey has been taking German lessons during the close season.
