Moyes' Derby Record

This, our lads need to know to grind a derby win instead of ****ting themselves.

Or maybe the players arnt getting a feel of passion or Importance to the fixture (just another game) that comes down from the management , dropping many players for the fixture last year for a Home quarter final against sunderland will also have a even more watering down effect of this particular game to players.

If a player is that weak that he can't get into a derby then he needs to man up.. Much like my earlier comment that our players need to man up in the Derbies.

Well then why is our manager signing or playing players that aren't "tough enough" to play in a Merseyside Derby?

Says something about his knowledge of Everton fans if he thinks playing a bunch of fairies in the biggest game of the year is acceptable.

You're digging yourself into a hole here mate, everyone at the club needs to work to get a derby result but it's the managers job to sign, tutor and play footballers to a specific standard.

If a footballing director was in charge of transfers and we had players that authorised the tactics and style of play week in week out we wouldn't need a manager, but in this game managers are needed to send the club in a certain direction.

Moyes obviously doesn't see the derby as an important game as his results prove, and clearly what he's drilled into his players over the past 10 years hasn't rubbed off on them, so that either says something about the type of footballer he sees fit to play for this club, or it says something about him.

For a man who's username is "I hate the Red ****e" you're awfully avert in chastising every party responsible for our rubbish record against them.

Quite the opposite, I think its everyone's responsibility, whereas you seem to think the players are irrelevant in the equation and that its only Moyes fault that we lose. My argument from start to finish is that the players should man up and take some responsibility in what they do. I'm not saying Moyes isn't to blame for his part, I'm saying his part is not the only part, he can only get them to the pitch he doesn't play for them.
As for the fairies thing, you're the one saying they can't function without Moyes giving them instructions on how to feel when they play as well as how to play and where to play. I think they can as we have seen it plenty of times before, they just don't which is why they need to man up and take some responsibility on the pitch.

Make no mistake....

Everyone who is associated with the RS are bricking this one. They are NOT looking forward to coming to our place this weekend. I just wish they were still winless going into it.

Body language will tell us everything about what kind of game its going to be when our lads walk out of the tunnel. If they walk out like they have been called for afternoon tea and biscuits on a summers day............. get the vaseline out lads

When moyes see`s a Potential Pressure or Expectancy situation , In his own little ways He likes to play it down and neutralize as best possible , in this particular case , Coming across and putting the signals out that The Derby Fixture is just another game (its Obviously not and never been the case since year Dot on merseyside) , last seasons team selection at anfield ... he Seen , took , and used forth coming Home quarter to sunderland as a opportunity to lift any pressure and water down the expectancy of getting a result that night , he let the cat out of the bag there for me .... its a pressure thing with davey i think he struggles with it when its on , imo

That's why i'm so f*cking frustrated with the man, gearing the players up and making them feel up for a derby is his job. Half time at Wembley he should've been shouting "f*cking finish this job off they're sh*te, you've got the better of these and the 50'000 fans outside watching us know it too" whereas he was clearly telling us to sit back and defend a jammy lead. F*cking Fellaini afterward even came out and said we had no impotus to finish the job off.

Whereas Dalglish is the opposite dressing room nailed it into them how important the game was, it was painfully familiar and obvious to anyone who watched it that second half.
