Jason Scotland, IN!
Who did he have at Wigan? Kone, who he brought with him, but I seem to recall a few real duffers for them as well.
Yeh just the few omitted years in that list

They've had plenty of chances about 6 yard box range mate and converted hardly any (none for Barry). And Lukaku wasn't;t exactly a fox in the box either.Think its more to do with the fact that in his system the striker is more of a team player who brings others in and holds the ball up too make play rather than an out and out goal scorer. Playing a lone front man as we do we don't create anywhere near enough for a lone front man to be a goal scorer regardless of how bad Beto and Barry are, Haaland wouldn't score in our setup imo.
Moyes had Jo though.Jason Scotland, IN!

Are you saying they can't understand his accent? He has never signed a non domestic striker and got anything out of them. He's always preferred and signed players "proven" in the Prem.
He wanted Liam Delap. We got Thierno Barry.
I'd take Jo right nowMoyes had Jo though.

You can say that about Everton in recent times too.He has never signed a non domestic striker and got anything out of them. He's always preferred and signed players "proven" in the Prem.

Hopefully the top notch, world renowned recruitment team we have ‘poached’ from our competitors will be able to identify those young strikers who have the chance to develop into the next top class striker? Not holding my breath like, but I have to have some hope for the future.I wish it was as easy as he can't work with strikers and there are 100s that he could have bought. But imho there are few top class strikers and he can't afford them. Simple as.
Based on Joeys scouting, I`d take a forty two year old Dean Ashton.
The only time i think he's played to a striker's strengths was last season with Beto. Then he reverted back to type this season.Think its more to do with the fact that in his system the striker is more of a team player who brings others in and holds the ball up too make play rather than an out and out goal scorer.
