James doesn't fit either of those categories though mate, so my condescension clearly didn't go anywhere near far enough.
Yes I agree don't ask how I put him on the bench, loved the way he played football but deffo shouldn't have been there.

Yes got carried away with that one.

The 2009 FA Cup final team that was missing 3 absolutely key players through injury?
I went Rooney as it was Moyes who introduced him and between them delivered an iconic Premier League moment. Also in some ways Rooney was as good and exciting as he ever was in that first season. All that being said, I get your point.Has to be how they were at the peak under Moyes.
Including people that became world class later, or somewhere else doesn't fit the task
Otherwise you just include Rooney and it makes a mockery of the whole thing.

I want to show my appreciation for a cultural icon in his time of need. Have you not heard? He feels disabled since losing his hair.
He played in the academy spring 2013. Maybe he was on the bench but he didn’t play until Martinez took over.Don't think so.
Arteta on the bench….i admit to getting mixed up with who played under each manager etc, but in terms of players I’ve enjoyed watching I’d have to have Baines with Pienaar. Cahill a definite. Loved Rooney but I can’t have him in terms of his longevity with the club;
Pickford
Coleman
Jagielka
Branthwaite
Baines
Fellaini
Cahill
Pienaar
Mirallas
Yakubu
Ndiaye
Subs; Howard, Yobo, Osman, Saha, Arteta,
Gibson?Martyn
Coleman Jagielka Lescott Baines
Gibson Garner/Carsley
Arteta Fellaini Pienaar
Yakubu
This would be some team if everyone was hitting their peak levels!
