in star wars....when yoda and obi wan die, their bodies immediately disappear to jedi heaven....but when Vader & Liam neeson (and every other jedi) die....their bodies stay around and are burned in a Jedi funeral...

Another back to the future one, this time from part 3. When they find docs grave in 1955 it says 'beloved Clara' but when Marty goes back to 1885 doc hasn't got a clue who she is and they would never meet as she's meant to fall in the ravine after getting of the train, hence it being called Clayton ravine in 1985.

There's loads in bttf. Another is how did the lightning send doc back to 1885? He wasn't going 88mph, he was just hovering!!
