Who do you think has been our most talented player since 1992?

Kanchelskis was about the most talented I have seen. Not longevity but still.

I genuinely believe in that first 3 or 4 months, James Rodriguez was above pretty much anyone i've ever seen at Everton. The guy was ridiculous.

Shame about the injuries but pretty sure he got something like 9 assists and 6 goals in 27 games. Crazy stuff.

If it's just about talent then Rooney wins it easily.

If it's about importance to the team , dedication to his craft etc that's a different story

Kanchelskis only world22 player we've had in the prem as far as I can recall

Post 92 Beardsley, Rooney were genuine world class but had their peaks at other clubs, and Big Nev was not world class in prem era.

Rooney has the raw physical ability and talent, but also had a mature footballing intelligence for his age - not quite as gifted as Gazza (albeit playing in a more attacking role) but incredibly talented

That's James for me. When he actually played he was a revelation.

I assume DCL is on here as a joke to get people riled up. Most talented player in that list is Rooney...Not that he was the best player for Everton, but he was certainly the most gifted.
