Them backers need to buy, if they give money to Everton now we are going to get into a bigger long term mess.
Their prize is entrance on the board probably then further investment to buy the club with maybe Moshiri holding a small amount of shares ?

There was some talk at the time of the takeover that there was a condition of sale that Bill remained in situ until the stadium was delivered.
I can think of no other explanation for him still being there.
