Rooney was a freak and can’t be used as a yard stick to compare other young players. He was literally tearing up the euros at 17-18
There's always an excuse.

20 years of age Kean is in the next week or so. 20 years of age, and he has experience of playing in Italy and England, but he has a record of 1 goal in 18 appearances for us.

That's 'kin pathetic.

Rashford scored 5 league goals in the last third of his debut season as an 18 year old.
Abraham as a 20 year old in his debut season scores 13 PL goals.
Alli in his debut season at 19 years old scored 10 goals in the PL.

None of them are Rooney class either.

LMAO. Kean was running at pace and did the right thing taking it with his left because if he had let it run to his right foot then the defender would have tackled him. The ball to him and 'chance' was not easy at all, it was all at pace and yet people want to call it a 'shocking' miss rather than praise his intuitive ability that led to the goal. Beggars belief. Can't believe you have started a witchhunt, I doubt the people moaning about this 'shocking' miss have any skill or football knowhow at all, a bit like when Piers Morgan criticises Ozil on twitter.

Tammy Abraham in his debut PL season for Swansea scored a whopping 5 goals.

Just total RESPECT for Moise for doing what he did. Coming from just scoring his first goal for the blues in the Newcastle match and had the total unselfishness to lay the pass to his teammate and forego chance to better his goal tally and quench his young thirsty appetite, is nothing but hats off stuff here, and nothing but RESPECT, RESPECT, RESPECT. This kid has great things to come!! Just study the video in slow mo in all directions and you will be convinced.

All three of those teams have midfielders who can pass the ball to a player in the same colour shirt.

DCL is never a striker.....
Holgate is never a centre half.....

Hmmmm .... that's right let bin off young talent coz they do not hit the ground running
Same folk will be screaming at EFC letting talent go when they come good...

imaging if we sacked off DCL coz Billy in the GSE thinks he's [Poor language removed]... let the people who know best do what they do best

Who's rerferring to 'the miss'?

I responded to the question on his overall performance in his time here.

Tammy Abraham in his debut PL season for Swansea scored a whopping 5 goals.
4 more than Kean then? And when he was Kean's age now he was well into his PL stride.

It's literally indefensible: a 'striker' who's 'struck' once in 18 PL games. A CB like Mina in one game moved above him in the Everton season scoring ranking.

It's February.

Tammy Abraham is 22, Moise Kean is still a teenager.

Why are you so incessantly negative? He's played around 600 minutes of Premier League football under 3 different managers, in a country and language that is entirely new to him, in one of the toughest leagues about and in a team that has struggled for large parts of the season. He has a goal and 2 assists in the limited time he's had, no that's nothing remarkable but a goal contribution every ~200 mins he's been on the pitch in the league is far from "'kin pathetic". Try some positivity for a change, support the players, especially one who's still a teenager ffs.
