Exactly this. Life hack. As soon as a video or ad comes on professing to have found a life hack I can’t get rid of it quick enough. Since when has putting a sponge on a stick to reach difficult places been a’hack’ ffs?"Touch Base"
Also adding the word "hack" to things,

Save fuel hack.
Dinner hack.
Saying "to be fair" before giving an opinion-just say what you have to say the to be fair bit doesnt add anything. Also everything being compared to A "Prime" this or that on here.
So are most people mate especially my wife she works in an office and seems to pick up all the latest buzzwords and sayings off whoever she sits next to on any given day " to be fair" is just the latest in a long lie of annoyances.To be fair, I’m very guilty of this

Winds me up that one. Very common when people are asked what they do by a quiz show host for some reason.'So' beginning every sentence whether in response to a question or beginning a statement eg 'So! I was watching a programme last night and....'
or
'So! In response to what you're asking...'
