Just finished watching us on sky and other than a five minute blitz, we were very average. The midfield, as has been the case for a long time was poor. If Cahill doesn't score he has no real impact, Osman is neat and tidy but lacks the physical attributes (size, strength, speed, etc) to dominate a game from midfield, Rodwell is to young to pass judgement on and unless pienaar is playing alongside him arteta has struggled this season. Then there is felliani, whom I have to admit after watching him in his first couple of games looked like a midfield version of Brett Angell!! However in the last few games he is actually looking like a decent player, physically he has what we have been missing for a long time, a physical presence in the midfield. Add to that the fact that he is comfortable in possession has scored goals and doesn't shy away from the rough and tumble. I think we may have unearthed a gem. There are not many, 20 year old, top quality centre midfielders, it is a position that takes time to establish yourself in. I may be proved wrong (i hope not) but I think this lad is the future and the fact that he wasn't there today stuck out like a sore thumb!

You can have some (meager) rep for that one.

And its nice to see someone positive and thoughtful about our record signing, such to the extent that you have pointed him out only on his being absent.

Top draw!

He does look good. I remember when Pienaar was first in the team and everyone was saying he wasnt up to it(Again). Look at his class now. How many 20 year olds are constantly tackling, in the right place for the play, can pass shoot and head the ball and win games? This lad is the real deal and will prove to be a world beater.
