clearly not the easiest to manage, a bit inconsistent which is the nature of these players, but had some very good spells where he was brave in possession and took it to the opposition without fear or respect, also turned up for derbies and his snapping of suarez was glorious. A lot of talk about how we can win a derby, well these are the kind of players who aren't scared of playing at anfield, they might not be easy to manage and might not even be the most likeable people, but if you are happy in mid table with a good set of lads who all shake the oppo's hand before the game, then fine, if we want to move forward and compete our fans might just have to accept these sort of personalities a bit more and not set against them so much, albeit more talented versions, but there is certainly a lesson there for us.
I disagree entirely. Just because he played well in one or two games versus the RS doesn't make him a player. He's a complete up himself type of player, that I'd rather do without than keep for the one or two games a year he turns up

Biggest shame for me. Always loved him as a player but after the Martinez season it was obvious he needed a fresh club and a new start elsewhere.

He was a very good player for the club at one point in time, such a shame he isn't leaving one.

Weird how crap he become after so much promise. Scored some banging goals and free kicks, used to be a very clinical slotter. What happened? Shadow of the player he used to be.

The quality within the squad declines ever further with his departure.

Sorry you weren't able to be Neymar every week Kev, in the same way Barkley wasn't Zidane, Lukaku wasn't a Shearer / Henry hybrid, Stones wasn't Maldini at 20 etc etc

At least we now have Lennon and Bolasie who are far more consistent, in a manner of speaking.

Disagree massively here, he WAS quality, but has been very poor for 3 years. He hasn't even been playing so we will not miss him, also, the 70k (or whatever) saved per week will be invested elsewhere, with more results. Walcott perhaps.

Walcott.

Someone cancel Kev's flight right now if that is the alternative.
