..I don’t do supermarkets but I presume younger people also use shopping trolleys. Can’t imagine they carry shopping in their arms.

i think he means the way they navigate round the supermarkets with shopping trolleys, before my nan died we used to take her to tesco and it was an ordeal

I did mean how they go around the supermarket. I wonder if they could be issued with indicators and stop lights when they collect their trollies. It would help my state of mind and prevent fuming at the missus when I return from the shopping mission.
