2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

Mad how you can’t just say:
“He’s been crap almost the entire time he’s been here, but he’s been great this year so far.”

It’s really not that hard to be objective 😂.
If I thought he’s been great this year I would say that, but I don’t, so I can’t.

Are we keeping clean sheets?
Are we winning games?

He’s been the best of a bad bunch, and better than he has been in the past, but great is hyperbole.

It was a penalty, there's nothing natural about Mr Tickle's flappy arms. If it were the other way around, there'd be fume everywhere.

It is an offence if a player:
  • deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball
  • touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised

100% hyperbole.

The same happened to Mykolenko because he wasent kicking the ball out for a throw in and scored a couple of goals.
We are now 2 years on and still stuck with Mykolenko at full back.

He hasn't even been that good, his positioning when put under pressure is terrible, he loses his man constantly and dosent bring the ball out with any urgency, and he's one of the main problems for defending so deep
He can head a decent ball away though, so that means he's been outstanding

Genuinely think people are more interested in creating a redemption narrative than actually wanting a better football team because he has a sensible haircut and a soft face

Hes been very good, but that weird hand thing he did almost cost us a point yesterday.
He's well overdue a brain fart. But fair play to him - this opening 10 games is the best form of his career here I think. And given the drop off in Tarkowski this season, we've needed him.

Mad how we still concede multiple goals a game when he starts, like we always have, yet people are still desperate to try and paint him as some kind of PL standard defender.

He isn’t. He never will be.
