For me Keane and Holgate are both 4th choice CBs. Holgate is more versatile so he's the one I would keep. I'm disappointed with Keane as I thought he'd turned a corner earlier in the year. Unfortunately he's turned back round the corner. He is shot mentally and unfortunately it will only get worse with every mistake now the crowds are back.

Exactly what you dont want a a center back. Soft, mistake prone, cant make decisions. And above all this is not a poor streak of form. It has been his career overall. The odd good streak of good form is rare and never maintained.

I don't think he should start games, but his form and mental fragility does tend to fluctuate a bit so have to hope he can recover again to some extent.

He will have to endure a spell on the bench, and see what happens in the longer-term.

For me he is strictly a reserve player.
