Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

In 1969 I bought a brand new Capri. Metallic blue was the colour. Was devastated 8 months later when a guy lost control on ice, hit me head on and virtually wrote it off. They decided to repair it even though it had extensive damage. It also got caught up in a Ford Motor Co. strike and shortage of parts meant that repairs took 6 months. Got rid.
How are you today my friend ? Good I hope .

All the Oasis stuff on BBC over the weekend has made Karl prominent in my thoughts. A very brave man.

@Gwladysover loved the photos. Bluebells are lovely but they are a job clearing up all their stalks once their time is over. Clearing the beds for planting the summer plants is a chore for me I admit- love a nice garden but not so much the maintenance of it.

@peteblue curious as to the song choice? What inspired that?
One thing this thread has shown is that there are other "Karls" in our fans ,never to detract from the man himself but it has opened up a few on here and I hope they get as much from us as I know @messymascot did .

We got off early mate.
Needed to get back handy enough.

Enjoyed the trip though, but Sheffield is one rough looking place !!
It's far from as beautiful or cultured as other big cities, however I've always found it a warm, inviting place. It just doesn't have the history or panache of others.

You've got lovely places just outside the centre like Crookes or Broomhill, but the walking up and down the hills is a pain. Further out, it's dull.

It was an absolute freak show from what I saw mate. It was like a cross between Birkenhead and Gosport. That’s how the mrs described it btw.
I’m sure if you spend more time there it’s sound..

How did the tests go mate.? Do you find out the results straight away or do you need to wait a few days?
Well as soon as the camera went up, the doctor said “Wow”.
So obviously I was like FFS..

It was just the amount of Colon that I’d had removed shocked him.
They removed 8 bits to send off for tests and also a few diverticula were spotted.

Could have been worse..

One divvie rocked up “I haven’t done my covid test and forgot to take my bowel prep as well, still ok to have the test though ?”

Erm, no mate. Go home..
