Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I wish they would show The Professionals, and Minder again - loved Fools and Horses but flipping hell it is just shown over and over.

I would still prefer my Mark 1 SD1 3500 to a Capri, although they were also a design classic.

Some very tasty New Avengers cars also including SD1s
Shows like the Professionals and The Sweeney are frequently on ITV4 during the day. One of the benefits of early retirement. ;) I used to love The Sandbaggers, which was a bit more like Spooks. Roy Marsden was brilliant as the ruthless boss.

Loved Martin Shaw as Doyle. Used to get a lift to work in a Ford Capri, not sure what type but it was pale green.
My mate had a red Capri with a black top. It really was a babe magnet. We often used to pick up girls and the fittest ones would always latch on to him once they realised he had the keys. lol

Sorry ladies hope that didn't come across as too sexist. Different times.

Morning all, hazy sunshine today but the Easter weather here has been glorious. Shattered after an Easter egg hunt yesterday round at my brother’s for the grandkids. I had the job of hiding the eggs. Previously when I’ve done this after about ten minutes I forget where I’ve put them, so this year wrote down where they were. Trouble was the locations weren’t precise enough and “two in conifers” and “three in flower pots” was fine as far as it went - I wasn’t sure which conifers, flower pots etc were the right ones, added to that I left the list of how many eggs and chocolate bunnies there were at home! I think we found them alllol Hope you all have a great Easter Monday.
Nice weather down here too. Nicest morning we've had for ages. Weather's been pretty miserable over Easter.

God Anj you're so predictable. lol Must have been that Convent education.
And you, my friend, are getting to know me far too well! Or is it just Scouse birds have a "type". ? ? ? I would have been one of the ladies trying to impress your friend with the red Capri.....so very shallow. I spent a considerable amount of time trying to chat up a fireman who had a red Capri - I mean, come on - that's a dream scenario! He wasn't interested. His brother was interested but he was an arrogant tit and didn't have a Capri. Said brother qualified as a doctor and went to work in USA for one of the big pharmaceutical companies. Last heard of was a multi millionaire. Capri ownership > multimillionaire.
