Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Morning everyone,

Mrs J has to deliver 2 pups to deepest , darkest St Helens and hast a Scooby where she is going ( even with sat nav ) so up steps yours truly - I always wanted to be a taxi driver ever since I saw De Niro .

I haven't got a clue either , it must be over 35 years since I've been to the town.

Wish me luck!
Let's hope you got out alive .

It hasn't changed much Jazzy 🤷‍♂️

Do you know what Kev. , you're not wrong. The place is right in the centre close to the court and I could have driven to it without the sat nav ( except I didn't know the name of the street).

It's a bit grim but the lady is only fostering them for a few days.
Yeah, not much change in the town centre (which I rarely visit TBH)
I live in Clock Face, which was a little mining village when I was a kid. (it's about 4 miles outside the town centre) These days it's more or less just another sprawling suberb of St.Helens.

Probably ‘72 ish last time I visited St Helens, certainly over 50 years. I worked for a part of Pilkington’s at the time and was doing some training there. I don’t recall ever going back!

Good evening all. I have some news. I have been successful in the ballot for Arsenal tickets. Excited doesn't even come close!
I remember taking some Dutch friends to an Everton / Arsenal game . It was their first time at Goodison. You might remember it ....a certain Wayne Rooney scored a wonder goal and I almost fell out of the top balcony 😂

Good morning all on this wet one here ,the smattering of snow has melted and drizzle is the word for today . I hope all are well and had a peaceful night ,waking to a great day . We celebrate "Small Xmas "tomorrow ,same foods but a smaller tree ! We got one from the forest and it was in water within ten minutes which hopefully means it will last over the two Xmasses ( is that a word ? ) It is drinking water like there is no tomorrow which I think is because it hasn't reached dormancy yet with the milder autumn .
Have a great day all COYB
