Not a cat in hells chanceHow many of you would do this? If there was a million on the table I don't think I could although my sons would be rich and wouldn't need to pay for a funeral.

It’s beautiful, my sons friend got married there in October- it was stunningGood evening all. Having been off on Friday I didn't have a chance to wind up the Newcastle fans in my team. The team chat was glorious today. They are such bad losers.
We're managing to work our way through the freezer contents and are almost down to the permafrost at the bottom. We seem to have had sweetcorn with everything recently but there is now loads of room for the Christmas food shop.
I wanted to share this pic my brother took in Sefton Park last week. I think it's stunning
Depends how hungry I wasYeah but you wouldn't eat one would you.![]()
Lovely pics, glad you’re having a great time, the cathedral looks stunning.Hi from Cologne - having a great time here, some very beautiful parts of the city, others a bit meh. We usually go to Vienna before Christmas but thought we’d have a change this year. I think Vienna has spoiled us for everywhere tbh. Great beer here called krolch, and lots of cake and dessert shops and stalls - heaven! No problem hitting my 10k steps a day. Hope all are well![]()

The cathedral is amazing, they started building it in 1200s, and only finished it in 1800, I think it’s the tallest one in Europe. Although I’m not very religious I’m fascinated by churches and cathedrals etc - just wondering how they could build things like that so long ago. Also there’s the shrine of the 3 kings in there which was beautiful.Lovely pics, glad you’re having a great time, the cathedral looks stunning.
We got stuck in Cologne for 3 days at the start of a cruise when the Rhine was too high to get under a bridge. This was about 10 years ago, we were about 100 yards from the Cathedral, a wonderful place , huge inside. We ventured by train down to the next town for a change , can’t remember the name , it had an old remains of a bridge from the war, lovely little place, began with a “ R “!, Enjoy the rest of your Cologne trip! The cathedral is amazing, they started building it in 1200s, and only finished it in 1800, I think it’s the tallest one in Europe. I remember them isn’t their phone number 4711? Pleased you are well enough to play ping pong again. I constantly get text from my Manure supporting SIL bemoaning the situation there. I sympathise but it’s hard to suppress a smile, welcome to our world, Carl. lolMorning everyone,
Returned to playing ping pong last night for the first time properly in 7 weeks because of my cold ( still not totally over it but 90% there).
Played a tiny 9yr old lad of Polish extraction. Now bear in mind that I'm pretty good and in my youth was very good. Knocking up you could see that he was talented. When we started he just smashed my first 2 serves past me!.That got my attention and I went into to beat him easily enough ( as I should).but incredibly he won all his other games on the night.
In 12 months I won't get near him. A truly fantastic talent who could go into to become an international player and a lovely young lad too - not histrionics. Best kid I've ever seen at his age , love seeing such talent even though he doesn't play for my club. So at the end of the game I gave him just a couple of tips and he and his dad were so grateful.
In other news isn't it hilarious to see what's going on at Man U , shambles.
Out with my mates for a Christmas piss up tomorrow in Ormskirk . We are all blues , what the hell will we have to moan about ?
Have a wonderful time in Cologne , Val and give my best wishes to Eau'de please.
Have a lovely day everyone.
