Mrs J served a chicken dinner to my mum and dad who were visiting ( she was much more accommodating then and eager to please her in laws!) and I had just fed and put the chickens away and I took one look at the plate and said "I can't do this anymore"
Mrs J has the biggest smile I'd ever seen.
She knew that if she tried to get me / persuade me to give up meat I wouldn't
The question is can you dispatch, no letās say kill, an animal. I have with rabbits my soft mouthed lurchers have brought to me and also trout which I caught.

When I was a little girl we lived near a greyhound track and there used to be a dirt track with kennels down it and I remember the men walking the greyhounds and one man let me give his greyhound some dog biscuits.Btw I used to take Duster racing in St Helens. Think thatās correct. Would have been in late 80ās I think. He was the only racer I had out of a v good Kirkby blood line. They were lurchers really and faster than pedigree whippets. Won his puppy title up in Lancaster I think. Cut through a tendon on Stanley Park when I was training him up for the Nationals.Park Road? (Now long closed of course)

Yeah I think it closed around 1991/92 and then racing moved to Houghton Road (St.Helens Town ground) *Emlyn Hughes used to be a regular at Park Road track.

Good morning all on this dark morn here in Finland .I hope all had a fine night's sleep and have a great day today.
The morre I think about this points deduction the more I know the wrong people are being punished ,yes the club has broken the rules -they wouldn't have apparently if the goal posts where not moved in relation to building costs or the war in Ukraine causing the loss of revenue ,one or the other would change the picture -no it is the fans and the players who will suffer most ,yes the players because they too will lose money and pride in the way they are playing we will get further up but not where they deserve .
I know a lot are mercenary but lots aren't Seamus for instance and they will be hurting .the real culprits in this are the management and them and only them should suffer .
It was interesting reading one of the million articles in the Mail that referenced the fact that City and West Ham had avoided building costs as they were "gifted " their grounds which is a far different situation to us ,even though we as a club will generate millions and provide many jobs in an area that is desperate for them .

I think momentum is starting to swing our way in the media and we need to do all we can to sustain that. Of course other supporters are citing the punishment as unfair for their own selfish reasons but their objections are valid nonetheless.
Ultimately the decision made will be what forces regulation in the Premier League but I just hope we also get justice here with a considerable reduction in the tariff. It would be so Everton to be in League 2 and then receive an āapologyā for the inequitable nature of the points deduction.
This is where I'm a massive hypocrite. There is no way I could kill something but neatly packed in the supermarket, bearing no resemblance to the animal is fine. I did stop eating lamb when we had the sheep. It didn't seem right with the pair of them in the back garden!
