It is a herb ,not well known it seems but we have it here . Saying that I would think it is from the warmer climes .The wife has just told me that is the Swedish name !!! Tarragon was the real answer.

I love Tarragon with real buttery scrambled eggs.
It is like a very strong tasting beef with almost no fat .We eat it rare just as we do with a steak .I have tried kangaroo but found it similar to beef however camel was tasty.
We need to talk Taifi.
Armagh is a small place and you’re likely just down the road from me cooking horse and kangaroo and brewing your own gear lol

Is it as strong as venison? I really can’t take to venison at all.
Had flame grilled kangaroo and liked it. Didn’t like crocodile though.
For context, Armagh City has an Australian restaurant which is a must if you ever make it over.

Didn't like camel meat myself. Snake, crocodile and monkey were interesting.
I can honestly say I am not a fan of venison as it is so lean it can be very dry and it is not nicer than beef ,the same goes for elk or more correctly moose ( The Finns call it Elk but it isn't !)

Tried Uluru wasn't keen on their kangaroo.
Horse is sweeter than beef but not as gamey as venison. Avoid the horse fillet it'll be tougher than beef fillet.
The big problem with venison in Ireland is the rut and hunting season overlap so the animals and hence the meat are more stressed.

Never had horse, it's one of those weird ones that it takes a mindset change to not think of them as domesticated. Remember the big kick off here the other year when horsemeat was found in some supermarket products, supposed to be beef.

Hi all, I've had a bit of a shock tonight. One of my mates in work has died very unexpectedly. I was only talking to him the other day and he was in fine form. I keep thinking it's a mistake because it has come completely out of the blue. He's not particularly old either - mid to late 50s. Retired Superintendent at Cleveland police who started in our current job a few months before I did - because he was bored at home. No idea how it happened as yet but I seriously cannot believe it.
Horrible that, been there before with a colleague and it isn’t easy.
