No coincidence I’m afraid, it’s St Gall. His brother has been involved at St Oliver Plunkett for a few years and has taken the same team through the age groups.

St Gall travelled with St Cotumbanus from Ireland through France and Austria to Switzerland. He eventually decided the Rule of Columbanus was too strict and he stayed in Switzerland as Colombanus headed on to Bobbio in Italy.

The town of St Gallen in Switzerland is named after him

Well the metal guttering has been blown off part of the roof, the contents of my bins are everywhere and the garage doors are like a steel band with the rain hammering off them.

Too dangerous to go out and do anything about it as there is branches and stuff flying everywhere.
