Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this fine day ,I hope all are well and had a restful slumber .
We have a system /app here called Maisa wherein you have all your details online .The doctor can see and you can send messages that they read straight away ( in theory ) so my new meds for example ,if I have a reaction they will sort it out straight away .
They also give me a report on blood tests and the doctors interpretation. But the new drugs list is far bigger than I heard at least 6/7 new ones !! I will rattle as I walk . She has put up the result of the ones taken on Wednesday and it is no wonder she wants to treat me ,so I couldn't be happier -until people can hear me rattle down the street !
Have a great day all COYB

That's what I do too - add beans etc to curries, stews, salads and eat lots of oats. I also add pumpkin seeds and chia seeds to my porridge in the morning. I was amazed when I read up how important fibre is to your diet.
Slimming World have a mushy pea curry recipe which is actually very nice. Don't knock it until you've tried it is all I can say. It's vegetarian but I used to add chicken to it. Google it - it's out there on t'internet without having to subscribe to Slimming World.
I just eat most things in moderation , but over the years I’ve added or replaced things eg Oat milk, vitamin D , omega 3 , magnesium , Creatine , blueberries, tried Matcha but didn’t stick to it.

Out on the moors and in the forests you can find wild bilberries/blaeberries later in the year , they’re quite scattered , I’ve stopped and had a few as I passed by Orienteering or running but never specifically picked them.
We have special pickers that strip many berries at a time ,I am sure they are available to you , the berries are second to none for health ,antioxidants etc .
Just checked they are on Amazon . You can freeze the extras .

Reading that makes me despair of the state of the NHS. The main thing though my good buddy is that you are in safe hands.

To stay on the food theme, I watched a programme during the week and a GP was saying that full fat milk is the way to go now. I can get behind that alright but not in my tea.

Has to be semi skilled milk in tea. We had an old neighbour who often asked me to get her a pint of semi skilled if I was going shopping, the name stuck it’s always known as that in our house.

Good morning all on this fine day ,well the rain came yesterday for two minutes ! I hope all had the chance to enjoy a wonderful night and bask in the sun all day today . Not much other than loading sauna firewood and ambushing some poor souls at the lake .
Have a great day all COYB
I am a little concerned as @Val P hasn't been on here for a while . I hope all is well .

I have just watched "Countryfile " where Armagh boys won the tractor driving ,well done to them .They also talked about Irish dexter beef ,it sounded as if it is quite special ,any comments AT .
Dexter beef isn’t that common here and I have maybe tried it once or twice down the country. I have never driven a tractor either just to clarify 😀
