Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I tried to delete the previous post because it felt a bit boastful and came out all wrong but the system wouldn’t let me I’m afraid. Please ignore it, but I’m really surprised that any doctor could do this to you unless it’s for their own health reasons. Again, I hope they can find a way around it and that you can live with the pain until they do…..
Not boasting- you're telling us what happened

Hello all. I share your pain @Armaghtoffee . I was so sad too. Incidentally an update on the Irish passport situation. My brother got his foreign birth registration just before Christmas and now has an Irish passport. In spite of us applying at exactly the same time, with all the same documents, in the same envelope, my foreign birth registration turned up last month, while I was in Australia and has been returned to sender because there was nobody to sign for it. I'm going to chase them up after Easter if it doesn't get sent back to me. Typical that I did all the research, got all the certificates and my brother got his first!
We're off to Nottingham tomorrow for the weekend
Frankie is coming with us to see his Uncle and Auntie so that will be extra nice.
Have a lovely weekend folks x

It will be worth it in the end Anj. In contrast, my other half renewed hers on line and it popped through the letter box in 2 weeks.

Evening everyone I hope you’re all well. I was sad to see ROI go out last night too and am just watching Garner in the friendly against Uruguay.i hope he doesn’t take any chances with injury whilst trying to impress Tuchel but if a World Cup place is at stake I guess you would.
Yesterday we went to Manchester to a virtual reality trip around Machu Pichu. Well I reckon my knees would not take me around the real one so this was as good as it could get. Very weird, first time I’ve done anything like it. At one point in the virtual world you got taken up thousands of feet stood on a rock - I have never been so scared I literally couldn’t move 😂 it was like having a nightmare but being awake. Hubby couldn’t cope with it as it gave him vertigo so I went to machu pichu on my own. A very interesting experience.
Enjoy your EFC free weekend everyone 💙

Morning all. It’s going to be a degree or so warmer than yesterday but with showers, so we won’t be going out.. I will probably go into our town on my own as I want to buy a really nice bottle of champagne as a gift for someone at the pub for work they did. Anyway I’m sat here eating a couple of Sea Salt biscuits before trying for sleep again. And before anyone suggests it’s the biscuits keeping me awake, let me assure you it isn’t. So I hope you all have a lovely day, but apart from my trip to buy the Champagne, when my son gets home, it’s going to be another housebound weekend for me……

Sounds fantastic Val ,I used to work on multi storey blocks but I still get the jitters on our roof and it is a bungalow !

Take snacks. Have a picnic while you wait!🤣🤣

Haha…can’t even do that, as fair do’s to our surgery it’s usually well organised and it’s in and out straight away. I just woke up thinking I’d had a few hours sleep and that it was 8am 😞 only to discover it was 6am. Well there goes the last biscuit. Beautiful and sunny here at the moment but I’ll try for another couple of hours shut eye...enjoy the trip Anj…….

Good morning all on this misty one .I hope all are well and had a great sleep bar the normal exception ! My chain saw has given up the ghost and I am considering asking my neighbour if I can buy her husband's as he is in care and won't be coming out ,the money would be useful as she lives a very modest life but I am finding it hard to take the plunge .Today we will sort it I hope ,it feels a bit like picking over his bones but I genuinely think the money would help and she would like me to have it .Oh how hard some things can be .
Have a great day all COYB
It looked on the highlights that Jimmy played well .

I’m terrified of heights and I think even virtual ones would be too much but I’d love to see the night sky in all its glory. Not envious of your Australian adventure at all @anjelikaferrett😂. In my volunteering days at the local school we visited an exhibition featuring a mobile planetarium, a large inflatable dome. It was during my anxiety days and I was scared of panicking whilst inside and upsetting the children so I volunteered to stay outside with a girl who didn’t want to go in either. I don’t regret helping her but I’ve always wished I could have seen the presentation which by all accounts was amazing.
