Hoping for a good nights entertainment with the darts tonight. Nice box of biscuits ready to be opened and nothing stronger than a coffee. The afternoon darts was good but I think tonight just might surpass it.

Hi folks. We've had a lovely day in Nottingham. Once again, have eaten too much! I'll have to get back on the straight and narrow soon. Very pleasant journey both ways, not much traffic and the weather was nowhere near as bad as I thought it would be. We got home about an hour ago.
I'm in work tomorrow but that's it until 9 January.

Morning all. Well the last day of 2024 lived up to the rest of the year when the pub till packed it in an hour before midnight. The pub was packed. Managed to get it going after a fashion and fully working New Years Day with grateful support from our suppliers. Anyway I’d like to wish you all a belated Happy New Year and to thank you all for your support during 2024 from both Kay and myself……
Morning all on this cool day here -11°,I got up for the cat about 1am and the sky was fantastic but it was too cold to leave my bed and go out so I will watch again tonight .
I hope all had a good sleep and wake afresh for the new day Off to get my new glasses with a short focal range ,I can see almost any thing but not close in so this should help me focus on threading a sewing needle or similar . Have a great day all COYB

Yes 2 January is always a Bank Holiday in bonny Scotland, @blueloon will confirm otherwise but I think that hogmany is more important up there than Christmas.
So , back to the gym , healthy eating and no booze for the rest of the month.
January is a make or break month for Everton I think. A new manager and a couple of players or we are in big , big relegation trouble me thinks.
