Hoping for a good nights entertainment with the darts tonight. Nice box of biscuits ready to be opened and nothing stronger than a coffee. The afternoon darts was good but I think tonight just might surpass it.
I backed Peter Wright at 125/1 at the start. I'm hoping for a comeback!Hoping for a good nights entertainment with the darts tonight. Nice box of biscuits ready to be opened and nothing stronger than a coffee. The afternoon darts was good but I think tonight just might surpass it.

Happy New Year Brett. Yep had a drink today but that's it for me now for 3 weeks or soHappy New Year folks. Not feeling too shabby here after the festivities rolled on until about 4am. Notwithstanding those first 4 hours, January is gonna be a dry one here. Wish me luck!
Hope everyone else had a nice night/isn’t suffering today.
Morning all on this cool day here -11°,I got up for the cat about 1am and the sky was fantastic but it was too cold to leave my bed and go out so I will watch again tonight .
I hope all had a good sleep and wake afresh for the new day Off to get my new glasses with a short focal range ,I can see almost any thing but not close in so this should help me focus on threading a sewing needle or similar . Have a great day all COYB
Bet it looks amazing, would love to see it but there is far too much light pollution here. @peteblue is right -11 is not cool it’s flipping perishing!Morning all on this cool day here -11°,I got up for the cat about 1am and the sky was fantastic but it was too cold to leave my bed and go out so I will watch again tonight .

Yes 2 January is always a Bank Holiday in bonny Scotland, @blueloon will confirm otherwise but I think that hogmany is more important up there than Christmas. Not quite the -11° of Finland but bitterly cold here and too slippy for my normal early morning walk. I never seem to settle until I can get out and stretch the old limbs.
The darts was great last night and the semi-finals should be good this evening as well. The added bonus of the Old Firm at 2pm makes it quite a strange Thursday really- I take it today is a public holiday in Scotland?
This month gives us a huge indication of what our new owners are really like.Yes 2 January is always a Bank Holiday in bonny Scotland, @blueloon will confirm otherwise but I think that hogmany is more important up there than Christmas.
So , back to the gym , healthy eating and no booze for the rest of the month.
January is a make or break month for Everton I think. A new manager and a couple of players or we are in big , big relegation trouble me thinks.
Anyway, have a lovely day everyone.

Wind chill was -3° at just after 6am. Good for walking in but not so much the ice for going on your arse.View attachment 288716
