A few years ago I invented this form of stretching , exercises etc for the body to keep you supple. You had to wear a patch over one eye, a tricorne hat , balance a parrot on one shoulder and I did it with an exotic background . Sadly it never caught on
. I called it “ Pilates of the Caribbean “@Rita_Poon just back from the Preston Grand Prix table tennis tournament and the top seed in the Women's singles ( and a great player ) was Yat Poon , is she your sister? lol

Old fellas like me have to ration the "jazzin it up" , especially after the mental trauma of yet another derby defeat.
Actually a bit sad now I think about it as she was Yatty no mates.
At TT tournaments players go and have a quick practice on a vacant table to keep warm / sharp.
She didn't appear to know anyone and got her mum to practice with her. Now I'm sure mum was a player at some stage but she didn't look like she had picked up a bat in ages.
I'm absolutely sure that even at 63 I would have been a better practice partner for her.
Anyway it didn't do her any harm.

Table tennis yes , still reasonably competitive. The sax , sadly not . It would be fantastic to play and yep it's my favourite instrument but I can't play a note.
I'm sure someone will be along with a Burgundy, in the meantime, clarinet? The few jazz heads I know simply have to apply themselves to trying to play something.
