Coming from the south ( although I've lived in the North twice as long as the South ) I'd always associated bonny with fat or perhaps more PC "big boned".

I now see that I was wrong all those years and it really means attractive . How would the ladies of this thread have reacted if you were called "bonny"? Well Anje might have thought it was her fave gulity pleasure - Bonny B I suppose.

Working from home and the Women’s World Cup on TV is working out really well for more than just me I would imagine.

I had to laugh at the pundit on the radio. She was Scottish but her sister was playing for Ireland and scored directly from a corner . She was understandably excited and biased. However when , on half time, Canada equalised it was a "lucky goal" . Not sure there isn't a fair amount of luck involved in scoring directly from a corner either lol.
