i did, i only picked about 4 liverpool players though, and i've been proved right since with the league table. You just provided a totally unbiased view and made terrible decisions. Joe allen is a friend of mine but he is nowhere near the level of fellaini

Yep no doubt about it Fellaini has been immense this season, never seen him play this consistent. When I did my team it was before Everton's run of form. Tbh though its kind of hard to compare Allen and Fellaini, both are different style-d players. If I had to select another team it'd probably be a little different.

and you've ever watched allen consistently before? I know you can say it seems an easy decision now given the retrospective forms, but i think i and a lot of evertonians knew the differences between us and yourselves at the start of the season

Can't really disagree, after a full season we could make a decision on sahin and whether he's better than gibson. Sterling could just be youthful exhuberance atm, so you can't really pick him over a player who scored 20 odd goals last year and plays for one of the hottest nations around
 
Sterling vs Mirallas is pretty close like, because neither have really settled down yet. You'll only really be able to judge by the end of the season. Certainly I think choosing either is reasonable.

I'd just about accept a Liverpool player over Gibson too. But anyone dropping Jelavic, Fellaini, Pienaar, Baines or Jagielka is nuts.

As of now Pienaar is obviously more accomplished Sterling, but Sterling is ONLY 17 and will become a cracking player in about 1 or 2 years. But mate, seriously, Gibson over Sahin? Sahin is a proven world class centre mid who was player of the season for Dortmund when they won the League over Bayern Munich. Gibson hasn't achieved ANYTHING in his career so far. Maybe you've just had a rough night's sleep or something :)

The '?' basically means I cant really decide between Skrtel and Distin/Jagielka/Heitinga to take that final defensive spot.

A couple of notable absentees: Lucas, Allen, Mirallas, Sterling and Enrique. It was a bit difficult to leave them out but I guess that's the problem when you have to select 11 players from two teams.

Erm no. He had one boss season for Dortmund before sitting on Real Madrid's bench until they got the chance to loan him out to a mid table Premier League team. If you think that is proven world class then you are sadly mistaken and extremely deluded.

He's not as good as he was a few years back, as he was capable of saving their arses virtually every week back then. He's no longer capable of doing that every week, but he's still a top drawer CM player, albeit these days he's more suited to a deeper role imo.
