First player to try and play that role the way KDH does and it was hugely beneficial to getting us up the pitch!
He was always close to Barry for flicks, always pressing hard and high and still getting back deep to help out.
Very promising 90 mins!

Tireless but much better in possession, some fine one-touch interplay.

If that’s a sign of what we’re getting, he could be some player.

Chalk and cheese display. Hopefully it is the sign that he is coming to terms with the PL and he kicks on. Impressed as much today as have been unimpressed with his recent displays. Hopefully a corner turned for the lad. If he can kick on a bit then with Garner, HA, KDH, Illy and the improving Tim then we will have a very decent midfield for years to come. Just a RB & LB & Striker to help and let them express themselves
