I highly doubt depay would want to come nor would united let him come to a side that play long balls. There would be no point in him whatsoever as it would negate all his qualities

Another thing we've been lacking for a while, someone consistently dangerous from dead balls.

I'd rather take him over Scheinderlein. Granted there is major bust/jozy altidore dutch league superstar potential with signing him so its a bigger risk. However we need a left sided player, he's good at free kicks and still young. He's also one of those players whom if he does become what many people thought a couple years ago would never get tapped up because he didn't do anything at Utd.

With all due respect, but Depay has more talent in his left toe than Altidore in his whole body. If that will ever come to full fruition is an altogether different matter.

I don't doubt for one second that ability wise he can handle the Premiership with ease, just does he have that mental strength and self believe to get that undoubted ability out of himself.
