I wanted him before he went to UTD, but I'm not sure on him now.

Though to be honest, I trust Koeman on whoever he brings in.

Can see what you mean mate, but I was hoping a combination of Moshiri and Koeman we would be able to go out and find players around Europe, and bring them in, maybe like some of the names we got linked with in the summer that didnt happen. Where is our scouting?

Dont forget some of those players didnt make it in the Premier League but did in other countries. Depay himself had a real good strike rate at PSV, but over here done nothing, maybe if he went back over to Europe he might do well.
This to me just seems to getting a player from down the road without any real reason, just because he is dutch.

We wont bridge the gap between us and the top 4 or 5 clubs by taking rejects from them.

Fair enough opinion mate, my own take on it is if the player improves us and is actually a doable deal without loads of messing followed by a we tried our best but ran out of time then I'm all for it regardless of where there from.

As for delay and schneiderlin, if truth in them then its likely down to Kidman wanting players he's managed before who know what he expects so not much adjustment time needed, which in Jan is a lot more neccasary really.

Disagree. We need to build a quality squad. That is a huge job and it takes years. Tottenham bought Adebayor, City reject. Helped them for a couple of years. They took Alderweireld, Atletico reject. Helpes them greatly. Arsenal bought Real and Barca rejects (Sanchez and Ozil), Liverpool took Chelsea, Internazionale, City or Bayern rejects (Sturidge, Coutinho, Milner, Can). Chelsea bought their own reject (Matic). Even MU (Pogba).

The real question here is whether Depay or Schneiderlin are players that should improve our squad. I say one big massive yes. It is not relevant if a player failed somewhere else.
